 Welcome

In 2005 several of us regularly travelled to other local scooter club events run by Luton Lambretta SC, The Pilgrims SC, Milton Keynes SC and various others. After a while a few more locals joined us and it was decided that what was needed would be more events in our area and then got together on a regular basis and organised events, and meet up for runs etc. Over time and as the others heard about our group being seen locally the word started to spread and the club was formed.

The Tin Soldiers Scooter club caters for all types of scooterist’s, be they Mod, Skin, Scooterist, SKA or punk. We have a large variety of scooters within the club including TV200’s, SX150’s, SX186’s, LI 150’s, Customs GP’s, Modern Vespa’s, as well as several good examples of vintage Vespa’s, we even have several modern day twist and go’s.

Our regular Saturday meet is held at "The Sandwich Bar" which is situated in Oliver Road, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK2 2SF. The meet starts at 12 midday and generally we just chat and talk scooters and then we usually set off for a ride out at 1.00 pm.

We have a Free online forum and this is open to anyone who wishes to be a forum member, why not join the club and give us the expertise of your wisdom. Alternatively just log on and have a laugh with like minded individuals.

We are in our 5th year as a club and we have organised several local events to raise the profile of the club both locally as well as within the scene. The local events are Stoke Goldington Steam Rally, Newton Longville Transport Show & MK Museum Transport Shows, Our Main event known locally as The Keltic Weekender II, our Xmas Party and obviously our Easter Egg run to MK General Hospital. See our events page for a full line up of what’s going on within the club this year.

There is only one way for the club now and that is forward, next year the local events will be even more successful & the membership will increase on an ongoing basis.

We have regular monthly meets on the last Friday of the month at 7.30pm, these are held at The Irish Club, Manor Fields, Watling Street, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Bucks, MK2 2HX

Opposite Dobbins Garden Centre, see map by clicking link below:

How to Find Our Monthly Meet

The club is as friendly as they get, members are both young and old, all differing types of people and all just into the music and the scene.

We also meet every Saturday in Bletchley at midday (See map link below), so come along and be sure of a proper Scooter club welcome.

Just a quick note for those who want to register with the site and have difficulties, just email me via contacts page and I will sort out any issues.

 News

The 2010 events have now been placed in the forum under the events section as well as the calendar on the home page. We hope that as many of you come to these events and support the club as this is what it is all about. Keep the Faith.

Well its 2010 already and I have been working on the events for the year, they can be found in the events section of the forum or in the club calendar on the home page. This is our 5th year as a scooter club and things are going from good to better. With over 50 scooter owners in the club and the addition of an associate membership for non scooter owners, wives and family members it boosts our numbers to close to 70.

This year promises to be as exciting as those before with our club going along to Stoke Goldington for the weekend, Newton Longville Transport Show, The St Gerorges Weekender in Ely and the Great London Rideout to name a few. Keep on Scootering and ride safe.

We welcome our newest members
